Anime Awards Night 2!
Nomination Form
The ANL staff will be writing a fic that works like the Emmys that
showcases characters that are nominated by you, our faithful subscriber.
Since we tailor to US released anime, we’d hope that you’d mostly nominate commercially released
anime (that’s Hamtaro to X to Princess Mononoke to Serial Experiments Lain, for a few examples).
Of course, some fansubbed anime such as Nuku Nuku, Di Gi Charat, and Mahoromatic are well known to
most anime fans. If we have overwhelming nominations for a fansubbed series or character, it will
be included. Please only Japanese characters. Even though the staff loves such shows as the
Powerpuff Girls and Invader Zim, they are not anime.
We’ll give you the award name and a short description of the award.
First class users can simply send their messages to Sean Duffy over the server if that would be easier
for them.
Each person is allowed to nominate two people in any given award.
Best Male Hero
(This is any good guy who is the best character)
Best Female Hero
(This is any good girl who is the best character)
Comical Relief
(Any character that exists as something that just lightens the entire overall mood of an anime)
Kawaii Critter Award
(What’s the cutest critter?)
Evilest of Evil
(The baddest bad guy/girl around)
Most Shiny Mecha
(Coolest looking mecha)
Most Not-useless Mecha
(The most powerful mecha)
Master of the Sword Award
(Who’s the best with a sword)
Our Hearts Go Out to Ninja #35
(Best ninja/band of ninja in an anime)
Tasty Blood Vintage
(An award for the most popular vampire)
Cutest Couple
(Which two people make the best couple? The don’t have to be from the same series)
Best Movie
(What movie is the best)
Best Series
(What series is the best)

Battle Square Superstar
(The winner of this award faces ten opponents in a special fic... and it can be any anime character. This award exists for the strongest of the strong)

(Who is the most popular staff member?)

(Non-main staff people such as Cyber Kitty, Gatomon, Sentret, and Kamui the Dark Cabbit)

Clarification…
OAV's go into the Series category as they are short series.
The Battle Square Superstar is for any character from any anime and not necessarily from the ANL staff.
Sorry for the confusion and thank you for your participation.
Especially to the University of Maine Animation Club for subscribing with probably one or two people that actually read it.
