Animé review: Vampire Hunter D
Shade's ratings: ****  Ukyo's ratings: ****  Purin's ratings: ***3/4
This is a sci-fi epic with vampires, mutants, and cool weapons. A girl is out hunting some berserk monster, she kills it (afterwards, it jumps up and kills her horse), kills it again (this time mutilating it), when a werewolf jumps up, grabs her cross necklace, and runs off into the night. Well after that, how much more worse could it get? Well, that werewolf was on the payroll of a vampire, who jumps out of nowhere and bites her neck. After that she finds a vampire hunter to hire (who she tries to kill), and he is named D. After all that, D still is going to help her kill that vampire. On TV, it can be periodically seen on sci-fi. If you like gothic thrillers, this movie is right for you.

Another Animé Review: Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer
Shade's ratings: *****  Ukyo's ratings: ****  Purin's ratings: ****
What would you do if you were trapped reliving the same day over and over? For anyone else, this would be a horrific problem... for the residents of Tomobiki, it's far worse! Okay, if I understand Urusei Yatsura, it's about a really complicated love polygon with a couple of aliens named oni thrown in for fun (Shinto/English dictionary: Oni-A demon that wears tiger striped loin cloths and weild giant mallets. Can utilize elements such as lightning, fire, ice, ect.). If you thought Ranma 1/2 was complicated, wait until you see this.

TV Information on Monster Raising Shows!!!
There are three shows on about raising monsters, Pokémon (various channels), Digimon (Fox), and Monster Rancher (Scifi, 7:00 est, 4:00 pacific, Mon-Thur). We shall give you a brief explanation on each.
Pokémon: Ash, Brock, and Misty are still wandering around with Pikachu. All I'm waiting for is the episode Jigglypuff vs. the Clefairies!!! Soon, Brock will leave, and Ash will collect the remaining badges and face the Elite Four!!! Also, the POKéMON Movie will hit theatres in December (PSST: In Japan, people who went got a special Mew Pokémon CCG card, will they do it in America??? I know my deck would work well with it). BTW, Fossil booster packs will be out in October (RUMOR).
Digimon: This is a sad, sad Tomogatchi version of Pokémon. I only watched one episode, and I felt violent. Not only did I feel violent, I was violent. Purin indeed felt my wrath. And they don't evolve, they Digivolve. Umm... yeeaaaahhh...
Monster Rancher: It looks good. It starts tomorrow... Well, it's better than Digimon, I hope... Umm... I played the video game and it was very good. They get monsters from CDs.

Video Game Review: Final Fantasy VII
Shade's ratings: ****** (=^o^= CYBER KITTY ALARM!!! YOU CAN'T GIVE IT SIX STARS!!!) Ukyo's ratings: ******* (=^o^= AHHH!!!!!) Purin's ratings: ************************************************************************* (=^o^= NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Well, as you can guess, it was good. It was a pre-apoc thriller with living weapons, way too many religious connections, and a cool bad guy with a sword six feet long. The magic system of materia (magic rocks that allow you to use magic if you equipped it) sucks, and we all felt bad when we killed the bad guy, Sephiroth, the man, the myth, the legend (=^o^= Don't encourage the Sephiroth!!!) (Purin ^@_@^: Jig-jiggly puff!!! [Shut up!!!]). The animations were astounding, and battles were intense. Square Soft, you've done it again!

*Alert Red Alert* POKéMON YELLOW is released next month, reserve your copy today!!!
*Alert Blue Alert* Final Fantasy VIII is coming soon! The demo was great, the game will be astounding!!!
